Inclusion Healthcare awarded Social Enterprise status

Posted on 10th December 2012

Inclusion Healthcare have been awarded the Social Enterprise Mark which reinforces that we are in business to improve the lives of homeless people.

As the only guarantee to assure social enterprise credentials, the Social Enterprise Mark is proof that 50-100% of surpluses are used to fulfil social purposes, rather than providing dividends to shareholders.

Lucy Findlay, Managing Director of the Social Enterprise Mark:
“We’re pleased to present this award to Inclusion Healthcare.  They are a shining example of how health services can be delivered, putting people first.  With more and more opportunities opening up every day for social enterprises to deliver health services, the Social Enterprise Mark has an important role to play in helping people understand when their health provider is genuinely socially motivated.”

Jane Gray & Dr Anna Hiley, Executive Directors of Inclusion Healthcare:
“We are delighted to have been awarded the internationally recognised Social Enterprise Mark. This further demonstrates our absolute commitment to deliver high quality primary healthcare to our vulnerable population as we continue to put the people we serve before profit.”
